Cast steel shot abrasive for shot blasting, sold in the S390, S460 and S550 standard sizes at 1.0-1.4 mm, 1.2-1.7 mm and 1.4-2.0 mm diameter. Made from low-sulphur, low-phosphorus steel scrap to a bainite microstructure, to SAE J2175 and J444 specifications, with a hardness of 40 to 51 Rockwell C.
