Hardened and tempered carbon steel holds a flat edge under repeated working across a wall or ceiling, fixed to a profiled wooden handle by five rivets for stability under the pressure a finishing pass puts through the blade. 280 x 120 mm blade, 0.7 mm thick. Silverline CB58.
