Heavy-duty scraper blades for VCT, VAT, wood, tile, rubber, epoxy and elastomeric coatings, and for scraping thin-set and glued ceramic off a ride-on scraper. Blade choice follows the job: start with a narrower blade and step up only if needed, since a narrower blade usually cuts easier and cleans the floor better than a wider one. Bevel orientation changes with the substrate: bevel up for concrete, bevel down for wood. A dull blade loses cutting performance, so blades are sharpened or replaced as they wear.
