The Metabo MFE 40 wall chaser cuts cable and pipe channels into plaster and masonry, to a depth of 10 to 40 mm, with spacer rings setting the groove width to 9, 15.5, 22, 28.5 or 35 mm across the two 125 mm diamond blades supplied. A two-speed gear and constant-speed electronics hold cutting speed under load, and the S-automatic clutch decouples the drive if a blade jams. Certified for low-dust cutting with the Metabo ASR 35 M ACP M-class dust extractor. 1700 W on the 110 V version and 1900 W on the 220-240 V version, 5000 rpm no load, 4.6 kg, supplied in a carry case.
