Steps 230 V single-phase site supply down to 110 V centre-tapped to earth (55-0-55 V), the standard UK and Irish site-tool voltage. One 32 A 110 V 3-pin socket outlet, sized for heavy tools with a 32 A plug, such as large core drill motors and floor grinders. Rated for intermittent duty at 4 kVA; the maker states it is not suitable for continuous 32 A loads such as heaters or lighting. Housed in a GRP case with a 2 m input lead and moulded 13 A BS 1363/A plug fitted. Manual-reset thermal cut-out protects against overload. Taylor Transformers PT4000/1x32.
