Cooling gel for dry drilling porcelain gres (porcelain stoneware) and similar hard tile, where dry drilling would otherwise throw dust and wet drilling would run dirty water across the work. Applied to the hole position before drilling, it absorbs and binds the cutting debris and cools the bit as effectively as water cooling, which the maker links to higher drilling speed and longer bit life. Its thick consistency lets it stay put on vertical as well as horizontal surfaces. Works best with bits up to 35 mm; a 250 g container covers roughly 20 to 25 holes. Distar CoolGEL 250.
